As you begin to connect more with and nurture your inner true self and release the old “baggage” from your life, the human vessel (body) begins to clear/release/heal/ as well. Your inner light grows stronger and shines brighter. And you may begin noticing that the way your body digests different foods are changing. This is common during this process. As your individual vibrational frequency rises, you may notice that your sensitivity is also increasing. Perhaps you are becoming more sensitive to different foods that you once could easily digest. All foods and beverages have a certain vibrational frequency. For example, high vibrational foods include fruits that are purely natural/organic, non-processed, and free of chemicals and additives.
So when your body begins to hold an increasing higher vibration, it may no longer be able to tolerate lower vibrational substances such as sugar, chemicals, and foods that are harder for the body to break down. Since your vibration has increased, then the body will often require higher vibrational foods as its fuel. Some find that their body begins to function more optimally with simple and natural foods that can be easily digested and assimilated. It is very important to listen to the needs of the body and observe how your body digests the various foods you consume. You may find that even healthy foods, such as specific veggies or fruits that you once could eat, are no longer being digested in the same manner and are resulting in symptoms. Of course if you are experiencing symptoms, you should always check with your physician.
One of the things that is highly beneficial for you to do at home is to keep a journal and to record on a daily basis how your body digests certain foods that you eat during the day. Pay attention to what your body is telling you and how your body feels as it knows exactly what you need to nourish it with to maximize your physical health. Your body should feel energized and comfortable after eating. You may also find that you are being drawn to eat something that you did not before. Reflect upon this as that particular food may contain something that your body requires at this time (a specific vitamin/mineral etc.). Each person’s body is unique and therefore the dietary requirements that your body needs to optimize digestion are also unique. So it is very helpful to be in tune with your body’s specific needs.
Honor your body and be willing to release any unhealthy eating patterns/cravings. Go within and ask your Higher Self (that aspect of you that is all-knowing and all-powerful) to assist you with the process if needed. When you nourish your body/your inner spirit's temple, with what it now requires, you will begin to feel lighter, more energized, and more youthful. If you find that you tend to crave a specific item such as sweets or dairy for example, you may want to look further into this. It is believed that cravings to specific types of foods have an emotional cause. If you have any such cravings, there is a book by Doreen Virtue called “Eating in the Light” which may help you to better understand the emotions behind a specific craving.
You may also notice that along with becoming more sensitive to foods, you are becoming more sensitive to other things as well. These could include environmental sensitivities (products containing chemicals/fragrances etc.), or becoming increasingly more sensitive to the energy of different people or places. Again, be mindful of what messages your body is giving you and honor its requests to make any healthy changes if needed. Such healthy changes will result with positive benefits that will lead to increased well-being. Being sensitive is a blessing. It allows you to sense contrast and it is one of the ways that your body gives you messages.
There is so much happening on the planet at this time and we are all going through big changes (whether we are conscious of it or not). Therefore, it is important to tune into your body daily and listen to the messages it is providing you. Food is fuel for the body and so it is becoming increasingly important to supply it with what it requires as you move through this time of transformation.
