Peace comes from within. It is our natural state of being. When we connect with the stillness that resides within during meditation, we become more deeply aware of the presence of this peace and can bring it into all aspects of our physical experience. The outside world fades away and yet we feel connected and one with all. In this inner sanctuary, we join with our true eternal essence of peace, unconditional love, and joy.
Meditation is an important part of my daily life. Each moment spent in meditation is like a warm, loving embrace from Source. I used to worry quite a bit during my early years. However, when I began to spend time going inwards and raising my consciousness, all of that shifted. The tendency to worry dissolved.
I enjoy spending time in the stillness within everyday. I like to meditate each morning and I feel it is a wonderful way to begin the day, aligned to Source. It also helps inspiration to flow. I continue to tune into and connect with this place of quiet calm as the day continues. I find taking these moments going inward to be empowering and nourishing.
The practice of meditation does not require that any specific rules or rituals be followed. It is instead a time to release from the mind, simply be, and enjoy our divine magnificence. Making the commitment to incorporate meditation into one’s schedule is what is essential, rather than the amount of time spent in each meditation session. Also, the more it is practiced, the deeper one goes.
From my personal experience, I have found that over time, as we become increasingly immersed in the bliss and joy that is experienced during meditation, this wonderful feeling of upliftment, liberation, and peace, becomes a natural part of our daily experience and state of being. Everything becomes more like a form of meditation.
When the mind becomes still, we are reminded that all is well and we can relax and let go. It is safe to do so as we are forever fully supported by Source. We need not and can not control anything. In this place of inner tranquility, we find greater ease to release all resistance to our alignment to Source and can bring healing to the body and mind.
Unless given the permission to do so, by being peace and committing to choose it for ourselves at any given moment, nothing can disturb it. Our own personal alignment to peace is all that matters. Each individual is responsible for their own personal alignment only. We are also only most truly helpful to others when we are in our place of alignment. And since all minds are connected, and really only one, in order to see and experience a world of peace, we simply need to focus on being the peace that is already our true nature. We then become an instrument of peace, which naturally extends to all.
